Let It Ride Poker Rules and Strategy

Let It Ride or Let´em Ride is a poker variation where the player plays against the house and not against the dealer or other players. The game is played with a standard deck of cards. The object of the game is to get a five-card poker hand, pair of 10´s or better.
To start the game the player has to place three bets of equal size. The players are then dealt three open cards each, and two community cards are dealt face down.
Now you can chose to withdraw one of your bets or to ”let it ride”, and keep all stakes in play.
One of the community cards is then turned up and you have another opportunity to withdraw one of your stakes.
The second community card is now exposed and your three cards plus the two community cards makes your poker hand.
If you don’t have pair of 10´s or better you loose the remaining bets you still have in the game. If you have 10´s or better you are paid according to your remaining stakes at the following pay table:

In one variation of the game you only make one bet from start. You have the opportunity to put in one more bet after the first three cards and then once again after four cards. This is exactly the same game and you can use the same strategy. Instead of take back, don’t make another bet.
There is also sometimes a progressive jackpot game. If you bet $1 at the jackpot game and hits a Royal you win the progressive jackpot. If you hit a straight flush you win 10% of the pot.
Strategy:
After the first three cards: Take back a bet unless you have a pair of 10s or better or three cards to a straight flush.
After four cards: Take back a bet unless you have a pair of 10s or better or a four-flush or an open-ended straight draw.
With this strategy you minimize the house edge, but you cant beat this game in the long run. The house edge is 3.5%
