Online poker players are very interested in where to play. Which poker room is best? Where is the fish? I believe the difference between most poker rooms are not that big. A more important question to focus on is: When to play ? The difference between daytime and nights are huge in many online rooms. At Ladbrokes a Tuesday afternoon there are always the same semi-professional multi-tables grinders trying to win a few dollars from each other . But the same location Friday night when people are coming home from the pub in the mood for some gambling are a totally different place. I have statistics on this, at Ladbrokes NL 1,5-3 I have played 1350 hours. My average on weekdays are $32.20 per hour and on weekends 55.60, and the difference between daytime and nights are also very big. Playing at the best times of the day and week can double your expected earnings per hour or make a losing player a long term winner. Only one problem. Perhaps you want a social life outside the poker tables. This is what I do. I’m located in Europe so I play in US rooms in daytime and take advantage of the different time zones . If you are from Europe Party Poker is a better place in daytime than the European rooms. And you Americans will find the best games in the European rooms like EuroBet Poker and EuroPoker. Ladbrokes are an even better alternative but they don’t like your governments attitude to online gambling and don’t accept US players for the moment.
